VMware is out with both Java and Python open source SDKs for its vCloud API meant to appeal to open source developers and ISVs. VMware said key open source client libraries and tools such as Dasein, jclouds and libcloud are now available for the vCloud API. Cloudera, which uses libcloud in its Hadoop distribution, and WebAppVM, which uses jclouds, have already used the SDKs to create solutions for vCloud Express. read more
